How a Metal Powder Briquetting Press Works | Complete Working Process?
The working process of a hydraulic metal briquetting system can generally be divided into several stages.
Material Collection
Metal powder, chips, turnings or other suitable metal residues are collected from machining, cutting, grinding, milling or metal processing operations.
Before entering the briquetting machine, the material may require screening, separation or other pretreatment depending on its composition and condition.
Material Feeding
The prepared material is transferred into the feeding system.
Different applications may require different feeding configurations. Screw feeders, hoppers, conveyors or automated feeding systems can be selected according to material flow characteristics and production requirements.

Compression

The material enters the pressing chamber.
The hydraulic system drives the pressing mechanism and applies controlled pressure to compact the material. The pressure level and pressing cycle are selected according to the material properties and required briquette characteristics.
Briquette Formation
As pressure is applied, loose metal particles are compacted into a dense shape.
The final briquette geometry depends on the mold and machine configuration.
Discharge
After the pressing cycle is completed, the formed briquette is discharged from the Metal Powder Briquetting Press machine.
The finished briquettes can then be collected manually or transferred automatically to storage, transportation or downstream processing equipment.
